Fishing Buddies

Ever since about noon yesterday, I have been excited. As Nanette's latest blog has indicated, we are expecting another boy and I can't wait. Initially I was wanting a girl. It would be nice to have a "Daddy's Girl" relationship but the more I think about it the more I realize that I get another 'Fishing Buddy'. So now that the boys are getting a little bit older, "Gone Fishin'" will not just be dreamed up phrase by some retiree trying to sell crafts at the Quilted Bear. Nanette of course will have to suck in some bravery and learn how to place a worm on a hook but it will be fun. :-)

The verdict

Well, the verdict is in and it looks like we are going to have:

.....another BOY! :)

So... no girl for now... but we couldn't be happier. The baby is healthy and growing and that is all that really matters.

As soon as the ultrasound was done, Chris and I went to the store and bought a cute outfit for him.

I think it is adorable and I just had to buy him some little shoes!

The hard part, now, is trying to decide on a name. Any suggestions?

I'm alive!

Well, I decided that it is time that I start blogging again. I've had the blogging blues for a couple of months. I'm not sure why. I don't know if it is because I am pregnant or in school or what, but I really appreciate Chris writing a few blogs to keep it going! :) Thanks Sweetie.

I have been extremely busy with life. School is very demanding, but I have to say that I am enjoying this semester more than any others I have gone to. I think it's because I am taking more classes that pertain to my major. Being pregnant and taking care of 3 kids (Chris included :) ) is also a full-time job. I can't complain though. Life is good.

Below is a picture of me, 18 weeks pregnant:

Where is my belly you might ask? I'm not sure yet. It hasn't decided to pop out yet, but I know for a fact that the baby is growing at a normal rate. We find out in 7 days what we are having. I can't wait. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a girl.

Chris gave me these beautiful flowers for Valentine's Day:

Tulips are my favorite. Thanks you so much Chrissy!

Also thanks to my family for watching the boys so we could paint Logi's room and go see Avatar. It was such an amazing movie. I was skeptical, but I loved it. If you haven't seen it, you should definitely go! :)

Bun In The Oven

A few weeks ago Nanette asked me a question, "Does it make you jealous that I'm having the baby and I get a lot of attention because of it?" The first part of the question is an easy answer, NO. What man in their right mind would want to carry around a baby for 9 months? Not me. Although, no matter what I can do to ease the burdens that Nanette carries that is one burden that I just can't help to ease. I mean we can't take turns in who carries the developing baby. As far as the attention, I'm not sure if I want the attention it brings. When woman are pregnant they often share the "DETAILS" with everyone. I don't want to hear the details. BLAH.

There is one question Nanette hasn't asked me and it's an important one: "Am I happy to have another one on the way?" This is another easy answer, YES. I can't wait. It's going to be fun even though we will be walking zombies for a few months.
