I have no money because I scrapbook!

I am addicted to scrap booking. I would probably do it 24/7 if I could. Well, I would probably need breaks here and there... to eat, sleep, stuff like that. It's a good thing that I have 2 kids, so that I don't do it that much. Chris is really good about letting me buy scrapbook supplies, when I want to. I am sure he would rather spend our money on other things. Last month I went to a scrapbook retreat with Chris' mom and sisters. It was at a hotel and we pretty much scrapbooked for 24 hours straight, with a little sleep in the middle. It was so nice to have no kids, no distractions, etc. I got quite a bit done and had a lot of fun.

Even though I scrapbook as often as I can, I am still way behind. I need to wait to have more kids until I am caught up on Ethan and Logan's scrapbooks. Maybe if I stopped taking pictures, then I could catch up, but I am also addicted to taking pictures!

Pretty soon, I think that I am going to venture into the world of digital scrapbooking. I have no clue where to start. If any one has advice, let me know.

Anyways, here are a few samples of scrapbook pages that I have done:

They grow up so fast!

Logan is 6 months old today. I can't believe how fast time goes. It seems that the older I get, the faster it goes. I remember freaking out when Ethan was 6 months old and now he is almost 2! I guess that I am scared of getting older. I just need to face the fact that everyone gets older and hopefully wiser. My mom is probably wondering where the time went, because we are all getting old and having kids ourselves. Anyway, Logan is still waiting for his first tooth. I can tell that his gums are really hurting him and I wish that his teeth wouldn't be so cruel to him and just come through.

Last night, we had a little party/get together with my cousins, Ashley and Megan, and their husbands. We had dinner and then we went over to the park that is near our house. The guys had some fun playing frisbee. Ethan really enjoyed it, even though he throws the frisbee like a ball and it doesn't go very far. Afterwards. we went back to our house and played games and talked. I wish that we did stuff like that more often. We all live really close, but see eachother less then when we were little.

Logan will probably get mad at me for posting this pic, when he is older!

Our fun road trip

We just got back from a fun trip to South Dakota. We left the boys with my parents. Thanks mom and dad! On our way to South Dakota we stopped in Rawlins, Wyoming and visited my sister, Katie, and her husband. We went out to dinner and then played pool and went bowling. Thanks guys. It was a lot of fun. After that we stopped at Martin's Cove and visited the visitor's center. When we made it to South Dakota, we stayed in Rapid City, which is near Mt. Rushmore. While in SD we saw Mt. Rushmore (very cool), took a tour of Jewel Cave Nat'l Monument (the 2nd largest cave in the world), saw Crazy Horse Nat'l Monument, and went swimming at an indoor waterpark hooked onto our hotel. We had a blast. The worst part of the trip was having to drive home.

Our cute little boy, Logan Thomas, was born on October 26, 2007 at the wee size of 5 lbs. 11 oz. He is now 6 months old. He is a pretty content baby. He likes to lay on the ground and play with toys or watch t.v. He rolls all over to get places. He can almost sit up by himself. He loves to eat sweet potatoes and oatmeal. He is going to get his first tooth any day now. He has been drooling like crazy and he has been really fussy. He loves it when his brother, Ethan, plays with him. We are so blessed to have him in our family!

Our sweet boy Ethan Christopher was born on June 27, 2006. He is now 22 months old. He is full of energy and doesn't like to sit still for very long. He loves animals, especially dogs and loves to be outside and play at the park. His favorite toy to play with is any kind of ball. He loves to help mommy with his little brother. He is always quick to get Logan his bottle or a diaper and he loves to try to make Logan laugh. He has quite a vocabulary of words and has started forming sentences. We love having him in our family!

Our Family

I am new to this, so I don't know what I am doing, so we will see how it goes. Our family consists of: Chris, Nanette, Ethan, and Logan. Chris and I got married in August 2004. We live in South Ogden, UT and Chris works for a Federal Government contracting agency. I stay at home with our cute boys. In the fall I am going back to school to get some kind of a degree. Life is good!
