The Jazz and Boise

Last weekend we took a fun little trip with my family to visit my grandparents in Nampa, Idaho. We had to be there by 6:00 pm on Thursday to get to the Jazz training camp on time. It was held at Boise State University and was open to the public. We watched them scrimmage for a while and then they came around and signed autographs. I had a blast, because I love the Jazz and I never get to see them so close up. My camera wasn't on a very good setting and so a lot of the pictures are very pixelated.

Kyle Korver signing autographs

Jerry Sloan- I was so excited to meet him!

Andre Kirilenko

Deron Williams- my favorite!- I just wish the picture was better.

My brothers were excited to get some basketball cards signed and I am excited to do a scrapbook page with the autographs and pictures that I got.

While we were there we also went swimming and shopping a lot. And the guys went golfing and to the Priesthood session. It was a nice little getaway.

Photo Shoot

When my mom was at my house last week we attempted to take the boys' pictures ourselves and make it look professional. We even bought a sheet and hung it up for the background. Well... to our dismay the boys did not want to cooperate. Logan was really tired and so after a few attempts he started to arch his back and slide off the couch. Ethan is 2 and so that should explain everything. He didn't want to cooperate because we wanted him to. Here is the best picture that we got of each of them. The professionals must have some tricks up their sleeves.

Kids

How is it that your kids can be driving you crazy, but you love them so much... at the same time?

I have been trying to get my house deep cleaned and it has definitely been a challenge with two kids. Yesterday I was working on Logan's room and I noticed that Ethan's cereal bowl was sitting empty on the floor. I asked him if he had spilled it and he just smiled. I peeked out in the hall to see his milk and cereal all over the floor and Logan sitting in it splashing. It was so funny. It smelled gross and I wanted to gag, but I hurried and wiped it up and gave Logan a bath. I didn't get a picture though. I should have. It seems like whenever Ethan makes a mess Logan ends up in the middle of it!

I really enjoy being a mom. It is hard sometimes, but I am trying harder each day to have more patience and show them lots of love.
